Your sourcing partner,
origin to destination.

Hybrid Supplies connects international buyers with trusted producers and processors around the world. Tell us what you need (agriculture, seafood, metals or minerals) and we'll find it, coordinate it and get it to you, managing specifications, documentation and logistics along the way, and staying your single point of contact throughout.

Coffee origin, Peru

We're a sourcing partner across four areas (coffee, cacao, seafood and minerals & metals), built to get you what you need, wherever it comes from. One point of contact, the same standard of care from first enquiry to final delivery. Seafood is where we started; coffee and cacao followed the same way, and the newer categories draw on the same regional access and trading discipline.

What we source

Four categories. Direct from origin.

Why Hybrid Supplies

The difference is in how the work gets done, not just what's on offer.

Direct relationships
Every direct relationship we hold is built in person, at the farm, cooperative or facility, before we commit commercially, the same discipline we bring as we extend into new categories.
Coordinated, start to finish
We coordinate documentation and logistics with trusted freight, customs and certification partners, and stay involved when something needs resolving.
One contact
The same person from first enquiry to delivery confirmation: no handoffs, no chasing different departments for an answer.

How we choose who we work with

Long-term relationships, not one-off deals

We apply the same standard of care to every transaction regardless of size, because the trust a buyer places in us on a first order is the foundation of anything that follows. Sustainability and quality aren't add-ons: they're the criteria by which we choose suppliers, and the measure by which we judge our own performance.

AgricultureCoffee

Peru · Direct Trade · Speciality & Commercial

High-level access to
Peru's coffee origins

We buy direct from producers across Peru's coffee-growing regions and sell direct to roasters and buyers worldwide. Speciality micro-lots and commercial-grade volume, both available from the same relationships, at a scale most buyers can't reach on their own.

Blossom and cherry, coffee origin, Peru

What's available

Speciality and commercial, from the same origins.

Every lot moves through the same producer relationships and the same quality oversight: the difference is in grading, processing and how the lot is documented. Whichever grade you need, you're buying from origins we've visited ourselves.

Speciality

Traceable micro-lots

Washed, natural and honey processing, with documented cup profiles and lot-level traceability. Every speciality lot is cupped and scored before it's offered, so what you taste in the sample is what arrives in the container. Built for roasters who want an origin story and consistency lot to lot.

WashedNaturalHoney
Commercial

Consistent volume

Commercial-grade coffee at reliable volume, for buyers who need dependable supply without the speciality premium. Same producer relationships, same quality oversight, scaled to the drying and milling capacity our partners run day to day.

From seedling to cherry

How we assure quality

Every lot is cupped before it's offered

We evaluate coffee the way roasters do, cupping each lot for aroma, acidity, body and finish before it's confirmed for sale. Where a buyer requests it, we send pre-shipment samples and record approval before production or shipment begins. It's a simple discipline, but it's the difference between a specification on paper and a specification you can trust.

Tell us your grade, volume and destination, and we'll come back with what's available.

AgricultureCacao

Peru · Amazon Origins · Emerging Category

Fine-flavour cacao from
the Peruvian Amazon

Cacao is a newer category for Hybrid Supplies: fino de aroma cacao from Amazon basin cooperatives, fermented and dried to export standard, sourced through the same regional network and documentation discipline we apply across coffee, seafood and metals.

Cacao pod, Amazon basin, Peru

Why Peru

The origin, not just an origin

Cacao originated in the Upper Amazon basin (the region spanning parts of Peru, Ecuador and Colombia), and Peru holds the highest concentration of cacao genetic diversity anywhere in the world, home to sixteen of the twenty-five known genetic groups. It's a large part of why fino de aroma cacao from this region carries such a distinct flavour range, and why we see long-term potential in building this category properly.

What we can source

An emerging category, sourced the right way.

Every lot moves through the same regional network and documentation discipline we apply across coffee, seafood and metals; we're simply earlier in building volume and track record in this category.

Cacao Beans

Fino de aroma

Fermented and dried to export standard, sourced through direct cooperative relationships in the Amazon basin, with origin traceability back to the cooperative and, where available, the individual grower.

Product Development

Early-stage opportunities

As the category develops, we're open to cacao-derived products and product development with the right buyer, subject to supplier confirmation and realistic lead times.

What we can confirm

Specification, documented per lot.

Bean grade & count
Grade and bean count per 100g confirmed against the cooperative's own lot documentation before any offer is made.
Fermentation & moisture
Fermented in wooden boxes and sun-dried at origin; fermentation time and moisture content confirmed per lot.
Packaging
Jute sacks, loaded loose or palletised to your container and market requirement.
Documentation
Certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate coordinated with the cooperative and relevant authorities ahead of shipment.
Traceability
🌱 Cooperative-to-container
Each lot carries traceability back to the cooperative and, where available, the individual grower, the same standard of origin documentation we apply across coffee and seafood, extended to a category that's still earning its track record.

How we're building this category

Real potential, sourced properly

Cacao from the Peruvian Amazon carries real potential: fine-flavour beans, growing international demand, and cooperatives already used to working with export buyers. We're building this category deliberately, on the same producer relationships and standard of documentation as coffee and seafood, rather than promising volume we can't yet back. Talk to us about what you need and we'll be direct about what's realistic and on what timeline.

Mixed orders

We can offer mixed seafood

Buyers don't have to source species in isolation. We can structure mixed orders combining multiple species (scallops, shrimp, squid, finfish) from the same origin or across Peru and Chile, consolidated into a single shipment. If you have a range requirement rather than a single-species order, tell us and we'll put together the right package.

Quantity

We adapt to your volume

We work across a range of volumes: from trial shipments for buyers entering a new product category, to recurring full-container programmes for established importers. Minimum quantities depend on species and processor; tell us your requirement and we'll confirm what's achievable and on what timeline.

Packaging

Customised retail packaging

For buyers supplying supermarkets and retail chains, we can coordinate customised packaging and labelling with our processing partners, branded for your business and formatted to your retailer's specification. Tell us the market and format you need and we'll confirm what's achievable.

Our coastal network

Positioned along the Pacific coast, Peru and Chile

We work with processors and exporters positioned along the coastlines of Peru and Chile, each selected for their access to the species and volumes we need and their standing with local fishermen and divers. That proximity to the water is what keeps our availability information current and our response times fast.

Global Access · Metals & Minerals

Global access to
metals and minerals

Wherever the material originates, we connect you to the right access, coordinating sourcing, logistics and documentation across this category the same way we do for coffee, cacao and seafood, through a growing network across Asia, Africa and Latin America.

How we can help

A supply chain partner, not a fixed catalogue

We work as a supply chain coordination partner across metals and minerals, connecting buyers to the right access, wherever the material originates, through a growing network of contacts across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Talk to us about what you need and we'll tell you plainly what's achievable and on what timeline.

Global network
Relationships and logistics contacts across Asia, Africa and Latin America, the regions where the metals and minerals market is concentrated.
Logistics & documentation
Freight, customs and certification coordination, the same discipline we apply across every commodity we handle.
Market access
Help finding the right in-market contacts and navigating the practical steps, whether or not we end up the ones supplying you directly.

Why global reach matters

Metals and minerals move through many hands before they reach a buyer

Extraction, processing and export happen across Asia, Africa and Latin America, often through several intermediaries before material reaches an end buyer. We're building the same kind of on-the-ground access and sourcing discipline in this category that defines our coffee, cacao and seafood work, just across a wider map.

How we work

Our Story

A sourcing partner built on
doing the work properly

Hybrid Supplies grew out of direct commercial experience selling seafood on the Pacific coast of Peru, then extended into coffee and cacao the same way: visiting producers, building relationships in person, and learning what international trade actually requires on the ground. That's the standard we bring to every category, including newer ones, like metals and Atlantic seafood, where we're still building the network to match.

Meeting a producer family, coffee origin, Peru

What we do

Three roles. One standard.

As your sourcing partner, we get you what you need and handle everything in between (specifications, documentation, logistics and communication), remaining the point of contact when something needs resolving. The role we play depends on the commodity, but the standard we hold ourselves to doesn't change.

Coffee & Cacao: Direct Trader
We buy direct from producers in Peru and sell direct to roasters and buyers worldwide. We take ownership of the goods and manage quality from origin through delivery.
Seafood (Pacific): Authorised Representative
We act as the international sales arm for HACCP-certified processors in Peru and Chile, managing specifications and documentation, and acting as the buyer's point of contact.
Metals & New Lines: Supply Chain Partner
For metals and minerals, and our newer Atlantic seafood line, we act as a supply chain partner, coordinating access, logistics and documentation without necessarily taking title of the goods.

Trust, in every transaction

Where international trade usually breaks down

In international trade, the most common point of failure is not the product: it's the people and processes that sit between the producer and the buyer. Miscommunication, undisclosed intermediaries, specifications that shift between contract and delivery, documentation that doesn't hold up at customs. Hybrid Supplies was built to close those gaps, and we apply the same standard of care to every transaction regardless of size.

On the ground

The relationships behind the specification sheet

For coffee, cacao and our Pacific seafood network, every origin on this site is one we've visited, sitting with producers, walking the fields, and being on the water with the people who catch and process what we sell.

What we stand for

The principles that govern how we work

Transparency
We're clear about what we can and can't do, and honest when the answer is no.
Contractual discipline
Specification, timeline and terms confirmed in writing before we proceed with any order.
Communication when it matters
We don't go quiet when something is difficult. If there's a problem, we raise it first.
Long-term over transactional
We're building relationships where both sides assume next season's business, not chasing one-off deals.

Our mission is to bring certainty to global supply chains, connecting the right suppliers and buyers across borders, and coordinating the commercial, logistical and documentation steps required to move products from origin to destination professionally and compliantly.
